As he had promised Dr. Chade, Dax had spent most of his night ensuring that she would have a suitable way to record her experiments without the compromised security system. He had only managed a few hours of sleep..but it would have to do as Lila had allot more for him to do still. Packing the devices into a box Dax had them delivered to Dr. Chades office and then enlisting the help of several droids and a a hand held sensor he began to go over every inch of the Laboratories - looking for bugs or cameras which had been placed without their knowledge..whenever he came to one of the security cameras he made sure to disconnect the wire and remove the power sources...rendering them completely useless.

The meeting had gone smoother than Lila had expected. She explained to the assistants and Hanley that there was a breech of security from an unknown source, the fact that they all seemed genuinely surprised made Lila believe that they may not be part of the plot to steal her data, but one could never be too sure. She would still review the recording of the meeting later for any small signs of treachery among her underlings.
As she called the meeting to an end the assistants, except Jessinia, returned to their previous work. They were instructed to continue on as if the worm had no been found. They did have a few things they would be doing in the near future, likely the next day or two, to help feed their would be spies some information. But for now they returned to their work.
Hanley and Jessinia stayed behind after the others left. They were the only two in the entire lab that Lila trusted completely. Both had prefect records and had shown on a number of occasions that they could be trusty completely. They were both given some new assignments on top of their normal jobs to help Lila search out any others who would dare try to steal her research.
Once they were both excused Lila made her way to her office. There she found the small box that contained the hand held recording devices that Dax had made for her. She locked them in a draw and reminded herself to distribute them later. For now there were other things to attend to. She picked up a data pad that contained the current information about test subject number two's progress with the serum. While reading over the data she exited her office, locking the door behind her and went to find Dax.
Finding Dax as he continued his search of the cameras she gave him a satisfied look.
"Those recording devices will work beautifully until this system is back up and running properly. How many camera's have you had to remove?"

Dax had his head stuck behind a camera while balancing precariously on the edge of a desk when Dr. Chade found him, luckily he had caught sight of her approaching from the corner of his eye and wasn't startled. Continuing to work - because Dr. Chade seemed to like it when her underlings were busy Dax removed the power supply before glancing down at her.
"I've disabled all the camera's so far by removing their power supplies - but I left them mounted in case we decided just to rewire them into a new system."

With her hands clasped behind her back Lila paced slightly, more in the thinking process this time than in the frantic pacing she had done when she first found out that the system had been tampered with.
"Good, we may just need to do that. I can't have my lab running with only half of the systems operation, no matter how minor they may seem."
She glanced out across the room to where several of her assistants were sitting at their desks entering countless lines of data. That data from her current project, previous projects and also contained the workings of a few future ideas she wished to see through once Project Nullify was completed.
"They didn't tap into the data storage did they?"
She was once again worried about the would be hackers stealing her data. Only this time she didn't outwardly appear worried or upset. She needed to keep her game face on when in the room with her underlings.
While Lila busied herself with checking up on Dax's progress Jessinia returned to her duties of observing the current test subject. It was time again for another blood sample. The man, having gone through the routine several times by now held out his arm as Jessinia entered his cell. She took the sample of blood as well as his vital signs and then exited the cell. As she entered the data into her datapad she made her way over to the blood analysis station. Once there she placed a small amount of the blood on the testing arm and turned the machine on. It began to analyze the sample, breaking down the components of the cells and displayed them on the screen.
Jessinia smiled as the picture of the cells came into focus. The adjustments to the serum were working as intended, and the serum was now entering the cell, not just attaching itself to its outer wall. She made a note of this, uploaded the data to the current serum versions datapad. She glanced at her chrono, if things continued as they had so far they may have their first major success with the serum in another hour or two.
As she returned to the cell area she spotted Talin attending to her duties of feeding the captives. She gave the young assistant the same look Lila often gave her when she was working, it was an overly criticized stare. Talin shrank slightly but continued her work, once all the captives were done she hurried off to get away from Jessinia's stare and see to her next duty.

Dax shook his head as he hopped down from the table and pocketed the camera's camera supply. "No Ma'am...due to security measures and the desire for secrecy both from yourself and the COS, Data storage is an entirely internal affair, all the computers in your lab - with the obvious exception of those used for data collection from outside sources.." And here Dax pointed to a bank of machines which were used simply to ensure current news was piped into the labs "run on a completely independent internal system"
