Buula looked around the room as the hull stopped vibrating, "Well, I do believe we've stopped," she thought. Looking at Caff she gave him his orders, "Alright, Caff, you get to start working on the ship's computer. First order of buisness I need you to find out where we are, second I want you to start interrogating anything you can to get your pincer on as to who or what else is here?"
The droid toodled and turned its dome around toward her as it started flipping through screens on the terminal.
"Not in here! Are you trying to get me caught?" She yelled incredulously, "Go find a public terminal out there." She gestured toward the door as Caff disconnected and turned around. "Oh, and while your out, see if you can find me an MSE droid will you?"
Once the SB-20 had left the quarters for the main cooridor, beeping the whole way, she got out her datapad and started righting a letter addressed "Dear Dad," but in actuality it would be a report for her boss. At the moment it wouldn't have much of any data, but assuming that the droid could slice as well as it was supposed to be able to, that would change with in the hour.

A modest orbital burn and some transit time later, the freighter touches down in Rendili's capital city. Despite the hard times the planet may have fallen on, one would not notice it here. With an unified architectural style similar to Coruscant's, it is a bustling megalopolis, though not as widespread nor as tall as Triple Zero's.
Taaru and Miko are first off the ship, taking some time breathing a new planet's air while they wait for the others.
<<Smell that, Miko? That fear smell? It's the smell of failure.>>
<<I dunno, seems like enough place.>>
<<What? All it takes is some art deco to impress you now? Please. These are the facades. Behind it lies the corruption that has plagued every single pangalactic government since the Old Republic. The GA is no different.>>
<<And here I thought you were apolitical.>>
<<War is the pinnacle of politics, ner'vod. Never forget that. Still, in the right hands, this little bit of real estate would be a nice fixer upper.>>
<<Priorities, Taaru. Remember?>>
<<Why do you hate fun?>>

*Aboard the Faustus*
There is never a time aboard an AI-outfitted Corellian vessel when eyes aren't watching and ears aren't listening. Indeed, the ship is more a living thing than a conglomeration of machines. It's inhabitants are either an extension of its many organs, or they are parasites crawling around in its guts.
And parasites are easily eradicated.

The subject of Faustus and its new color scheme had been set aside shortly after the discovery had been made. It was an interesting observation and the quartet of Mercenaries were still curious about it - but wise enough to know better then to mention it now that they had landed. At least not in public where some random spaceport worker might overhear.
Telera had struck up a friendly conversation with the two Corellian Marines who were accompanying them, Ras was pretty sure he over heard her relaying some sob story about why she'd joined up with the likes of her companions. The story would be completely false of course...Telera enjoyed her ability to pull the wool over other peoples eyes entirely too much for her own good sometimes, the fact that she was successful in doing so ninety percent of the time was a testiment to skill.
Jethro and Vidown were already waiting by the ramp, Jethro was showing something to Vidown on his datapad - by the look of patient tolerance on Vidown's part Ras could only surmise that it was something technical.Vidown was a good guy - once you looked past his surly nature anyways - but he was hardly the brains of their operation. What he did do however he did pretty damn well so Ras wasn't about to complain.
"Time to go Tel...tell the nice Marines to come along" Ras mentioned on his way past, Telera batted pretty eyes at him before turning back to the marines, Ras was pretty sure he heard a silky 'come along' from behind him and rolled his eyes slightly. But since he also heard the tell tale signs of people gathering thier things and trooping down the hallway behind him he didn't turn around to complain or fuss.
Jethro shoved his datapad away when Ras reached him - something Vidown looked faintly relieved by. "Alright folks, lets get this show on the road" Ras told them all, including the two Marines who were still making googly eyes at Telera before trooping down the ramp.

Once the transport had landed Erika wanted for the go ahead to disembark and followed the others off the ship. So far so good she thought. Within no time they would be back on the Faustus heading to their desired destination. The only thing stopping them from doing that right now was the need to acquire that data. It would be simple enough. The team was small and clearly well organized. They would slip in undectected and do their jobs. She glanced around the group of those who got off the transport doing a quick headcount and putting their faces in her memories. That way, in the off chance something did go wrong, she would know how many there were and who they were. After that memory was placed safely away she relaxed a bit and waited for their next move.

While everyone else was basically goofing off, the freighter's crew was busy doing the very important job of insuring their cover, which amounted to interfacing with the company reps and unloading their cargo.
The group of idle mercenaries, marines and force users got their fair share of dirty looks.
Taaru eventually got the gist, and decided to head to the aft of the ship and arrange for their transportation.
This was easily accomplished, since all it meant was opening one of the modular bays and presenting the motley group with their brand new swoops.
"Daylight's a-flying ladies and lads. Let's see if we can catch up to it."

Ras glanced at his fellows as Taaru uncovered thier mode of transportation, Jethro looked as though he was inspecting the models for reliability, Vidown looked - well like he always did, like he didn't much care how they go where they were going as long as they did indeed get there.
Telera seemed to be placing bets with the two Marines about who was the better swoop rider. Ras...Ras just sighed and motioned for them all to stop fooling around by pointing to the swoops.
"What he said people, get on the damn bikes already" He remarked before making a point to set an example and choose one for himself. Jethro and Vidown followed suit quickly while Telera followed shortly after along with the two Marines. Once situated they all looked to Taaru for further instruction.

Following suit as the others choose the swoops, Erika picked out one of the remaining swoops as her own. She gave the machine a quick lookover before hopping on and waited for the word to leave. She would remain at the back of the pack for the trip, keeping her eye out on the others.

Aaron sighed, his boredom showing as he left his seat along with the others. He had no reaction to the reveal of the new swoop bikes and stood for a moment merely examining his fingernails before sitting down on the one remaining swoop.
Still examining his nails Aaron flicked a few switches and hit the primers causing the bike to rise into the air, hovering a meter above the ground. Putting his hands in his lap he looked around at the group and called "anytime today ladies," over the hum of the swoops.

Unlike the others, Miko and Taaru have come prepared, donning aviator goggles for the flight.
Taaru finds the swoop he had reserved for his personal use and mounts it, shifting weight to one side to get a leg up on the priming leaver and smashing it down towards the ground.
The swoop complains with a roar of its repulsors, sending motes of dust out in concentric circles.
As the engine idles, Taaru motions to the rest of the group to put their comm earbuds in, as the collective noise of repulsor engines drowns out any attempts at talking.
As they had been making their way to the planet, he had also insured each of them had a map of the city uploaded to their datapads, with their current location and the GA Navigation Bureau Office waypointed.
He activates his aviator goggles, which doulbe as miniature screens, bringing up an overlay map of the very same map in three dimensions to navigate by. Over the comms: "Alright then, mount up and follow me."
He revs the engine, blowing a few scattered bits of trash and debris further away from the swoop as it jumps forward into the air. Taaru tames it quickly, and soon drops off the side of the landing platform he had currently occupied, into a small trickle of flight traffic, which soon begins to merge into larger rivers of transit heading for downtown.
On the way he explains the details: Miko and Jethro, accompanied by himself and Vidown, would enter the GA Bureau under the pretense of filing a legitimate request for astrocharts of an area of wild space the original Tokyo Rose would be visiting. However, in the process of following through with this, they would establish their wireless link with the Faustus, letting Lilith work her magic.
Meanwhile, the rest of the crew would remain outside the building, amusing themselves as they saw fit at outdoor cafes or local businesses, but ready to lend support if any of the four in the Nav Office commed for it.

***Aboard the Faustus***
After the freighter had departed, Jet had put in a request for operation updates to be sent to her as they came in - she was fairly certain that Aralee would comply with her request, since it meant Jet wasn't rattling around in her command center, something she had already displayed a dislike for.
Jet was willing to keep out of the womens hair - as long as she was also willing to keep Jet as informed as she liked to be, it was a two way street and if Aralee choose to play a power game with her Jet was fairly certain she wouldn't like the results, no one on the ship would - Jet was quite capable of going from peaceful to pissed off in less time then it took most people to register the change, much to the detriment of whomever happened to be her current target of choice.
Suffice to say rather then returning to the bridge and bothering the Officers there Jet had elected to spend her time with Darren and the remainder of his crew in the hours between the away teams expected return, and she now found herself observing a rowdy card game, drink in hand as she studied the propped of results of a quick sketch session. Not many people were aware that Jet could draw - it wasn't exactly a skill she'd had ample opportunity to portray but somewhere along the way she'd discovered an enjoyment of the fine arts, she blamed Grif and his obsession of art for the most part - but once in a while it actually came in handy and she'd managed to come up with a decent rendition of the man from her dream.
"Someone you know?" Darren questioned as he glanced at the picture over her shoulder and handed Mulokhai the drink he'd left to retrieve for her.
Accepting the drink Khai also craned her neck to look at the drawing "what that there?" she asked pointing to what looked to be a half completed insignia.
"I'm not sure, something about him is familiar but I'm fairly certain I've never seen this particular man before" She answered Darren before tapping a finger on the insignia "And the patch was too damaged to really make out clearly, I saw him in a dream..and for some reason I have the feeling I should know why" She shrugged slightly and flipped the sketchbook closed.
"Do you want me to have someone look into it?" Darren asked "I'm sure Jethro could run a facial recognition program or something" He offered after a few moments thought. Both him and Khai had spent enough time in the employ of Force-users to question such nebulous things as feelings and dreams.
"nah..I don't think so" Jet replied as she picked up the cards and willingly accepted the position of dealer rather then observer for the next game "I'm sure it will become clear in time"
Khai shrugged slightly and turned her attention back to the cards - if Jet didn't think it was important enough to worry over then she wasn't going to, Darren must have felt much the same since he pulled out his chair "Your call boss" was his only comment before he sat down and immersed himself in the game again.

From the pockets of the Mercenarie's respective jackets come a motley assortment eye wear, relatively used to the unpredictable nature of such under cover operations there were certain items they always made sure to pack. Eye protection of some sort was one of these items - speeders and the like made good getaway vehicles and were typically fairly abundant in metropolitan area's.
Although they were not true aviator goggles like Taaru and Miko sported they were sufficient for the job and typical of most people working for Jet had a few in-built surprises of their own. Nor were they all the same, lets face it a large mob of people riding down the road wearing the exact same eyewear might draw a bit of attention. Telera - ever the epitome of fashion sported the latest acceptable style, Jethro in comparison wore something that compared to the lastest techno-gadget model, marketed to techno-geeks across the galaxy. Vidown and Ras merely wore variations of popular glare reduction glasses.
Fitting their earbuds in the Mercenaries do a quick comm check before starting their respective swoops. As Taaru leads the procession off the landing pad Jethro follows with Vidown as always following in his wake. Telera follows placing herself by the two force users while Ras ensures everyone else leaves before taking up the rear.
Negotiating the growing traffic is more of an irritant then a problem and the group quickly makes it way towards their destination, the buildings they pass gradually changing from small local storefronts to the more pompous and grandiose architecture that often denoted Government buildings and large offices.

Installing her earbuds she too did a quick comm check before pulling a pair of goggles out of her pack. She was DJO afterall, and one this she had learned so long ago was that you always came prepared for anything. Pulling the goggles on she glanced over her shoulder to see Ras take up the rear position of the group and revs her engine following the others off the landing ramp. She took in the scenery, not for the beauty of it, but mapping her way mentally. Sure she had a map of the area on her datapad, but those could be lost and it would do her good to know the route in her mind as well. She picked out certain buildings as landmarks as well as they made their way along the designated route towards their destination.

Aaron watched the others put on various forms of eye protection and sighed to himself. He reached into his inner breast pocket and pulled out his old pair of sunglasses and flicked them open. He placed the mon the bridge of his nose and secured his earbud. He was never a fan of the be prepared mentality that everyone else seemed to be exhibiting. If you need a bag of gear to be prepared then were you ever really prepared?
Revving the engine for a moment Aaron smirked to himself as he thought about his lack of syncing his datapad to the Faustus. He wasn't letting Lillith anywhere near his personal datapad. perhaps he'd get a spare just for contact with the ship, but for now he'd gladly make due with just following the group. And that he did after he took off. He was in front of Erika, as she had chosen to bring up the rear, but he was off to the side slightly, further separating himself from the group.

Getting to the downtown headquarters of the Astronavigation building was relatively easy: Rendili, being a younger settled planet than Coruscant, had the opportunity to plan their hyperlanes, instead of having to adapt continually to new expansions and creating a civic mess. However, the trip was made slightly longer by the need to appear like tourists, instead of men & women on a mission. Taaru led them along a few back roads, giving the impression that they'd lost their way every once in a while.
But eventually, the gold and faux-marble art deco monstrosity of the Astronav headquarters loomed in front of them, the seal of that particular GA department displayed on the facade along with statues of great galactic explorers. Set overlooking a courtyard that services other GA buildings, both planetary and sector authorities, the Astronav building is the centerpiece, as it is one of the few buildings in this area that are open to the public, as it is a public service.
Masako leads his Mötley Crüe of Corellian freighter monkeys apparent a little way from the building, and sets his bike down in a residential parking area before switching it off. Miko is first to pull up alongside him, and both dismount at the same time. Taaru places his goggles on his forehead, intent on maybe using them later, while Miko removes his, and grabs his relevant things.
As the others arrive, Taaru comms them, not only for the sake of a comm check, but to deliver instructions.
"Alright folks. We're all tourists here. Find something to do for the next 15 minutes or so: shop, check out a bar or cafe, whatever. Miko, Vidown, myself and Jethro will head into the building after we fool around for a bit along these storefronts. The rest of you will play tourist until we're out, or until we need you."
Taaru clicks the comm off, but remembers a post script, which he adds.
"And if we need you, I expect you to go nutosik on whatever's in that general direction," he says pointing the building that is also their destination.

Pulling her bike to a stop near the others she turned off the engine and stretched. Dismounting the bike she removed her goggles and placed them in her pocket. She listened to Taaru's instructions on the comm and gave a quick glance at the surrounding buildings and shops.
"Sure thing boss."
She replied over the comm. She knew exactly what build she would go to. There was a small cafe near the parking lot, it gave a clear view of the building that Taaru and the others would be entering and was close enough that she could make it there in a hurry and yet far enough away to make it look like she wasn't scooping the place out. She nodded to them and took her leave, casually walking over the cafe.
Once inside she took a seat near the window and ordered a drink and a small lunch. When her food arrived she ate it casually while listening to the idle chit chat of the other patrons.
