One after the other the agents around the room had the different camera's they were usig quit feeding them data. At first it was unclear how it happened but as they saw that whatever was causing the stoppage was methodically moving from one camera to another. "Sithspit!" cursed Sei'lya when he realized what it meant, "Agent Teroch, they've found out someone is in there. I doubt it was traced to us because there is no incoming signal, but I have no assurances."
The woman sighed, "I'm sure you're right on both counts. Did we record the data we had seen before they shut us down?"
"Yeah, I have it here, Ma'am." spoke up another techie, "I'll put on data cards for you."
"Perfect, thanks." she replied, "Now, has anyone tried to see if we can get in another way? They might have just purged the security network or hooked up better cameras or any number of things. Let's try and find out why we're out and then get back in."
Not long after she had spoken the techs were busy running any number of test, diagnostics, and other things as they tried to find their way back into the labratories security system never knowing the cameras had been maually disabled. Meanwhile Agent Teroch knew she should take the data they had collected to the Admiral. Mentally preparing herself for presenting unwanted bad news to her superior she took the datacards that had been prepaed and left for the Director's office.

Gor rubbed his eyeslids with his finger tips and squeezed his middle and index fingers together over the bridge of his nose. He had been staring at his terminal all morning and to top of the stupidity of everything else, his techs seemed to have been stopped cold. He had reviwed what little data they had collected and listened to the brief verbal report that Agent Teroch had given him explaining the stoppage. He hoped they'd be able to get around it, otherwise he'd have to send in a team and plant bugs. Unfortunately without good knowledge of the place, even that could be hard to do. The Admiral put his hands down on his desk and looked at the chrono displayed on his terminal. "At least I can go home for a lunch break." He powered down the terminal and locked it against his personal password. As he left he made sure to lock his office door and check in with the Techies on the way out of the office. As he suspected, but had still hoped against, they had no knew leads available to them. Giving them a jovial wave he walked toward the lift and then to his speeder for home.

It was past operating hours, the lights dim, the consoles locked and shut down. Serena used the back door and the pass card given to her for these special visits. Secrecy like this was only kept for back alley black market deals and illegal trade of goods. But she didn't think that was the case here, hence why she was visiting the Agent at his work place. There was no dramatic need for secrecy. A librarian had no place in those sort of things. Books, Records, Holo-vids, old dead Masters, they were her specialty, not these late night visits.
Information was her specialty but running was not. She would have to tell Agent Teroch that this kind of thing was behind her now. No more mid night deliveries. An old body like hers couldn't take much more. She felt the aching in her knee and tried not to favor it as she walked down the passage way to the agents office. Serena held the data chip in the palm of her hand. It contained something that was asked of her by a good friend. She didn't know why he required it for his research but it would help her in paying off the favor she owed him.
Serena knocked lightly on Agent Terochs door. His call had come rather lately in the day, just as she was closing up the books strewn across the table that made up the day's research. When she answered she was surprised at his request. . . A list? Yes, of all the off-world Jedi Stationed on planet outside the Galactic Alliance. -but why? she asked. Serena, this is important. Please, I'll explain when you get here.
And so through a quick and thorough search through the records Serena was able to make up the list of who and where the Jedi were. She waited patiently outside his door, eager to hear his reasons.
