An Ordnance/Regional Depot, abbreviated Ord, was a planet which served as a military outpost during the height of the Galactic Republic. These depots were setup as the Core worlds began to colonize rimward worlds from around 13,000 BBY, the Galactic Republic established Ordnance/Regional Depot worlds as forward military and scout bases. Over a period of a few thousand years, the abbreviation stuck, and many planets from that era were commonly described with their "Ord" title. Many of the planets settled as military bases were designed to protect colonists, specifically Human colonists, who settled into the depths of space. It was often done out of a reaction of speciesism to protect Humans from indigenous aliens.
Listed below are the known "Ord" planets: Ord Antalaha...Ord Sabaok Ord Biniir.........Ord Sedra Ord Bueri.........Ord Sigatt Ord Canfre.......Ord Simres Ord Cantrell.....Ord Tasson Ord Cestus......Ord Tessebok Ord Dorlass.....Ord Thoden Ord Grovner....Ord Tiddell Ord Ibanna.....Ord Torrenze Ord Janon.......Ord Traga Ord Klina.........Ord Trasi Ord Lithone.....Ord Varee Ord Mantell.....Ord Vaug Ord Mirit..........Ord Vaxal Ord Mynock.....Ord Wylan Ord Namurt.....Ord Zat Ord Pardron....Ord Zeuol Ord Radama
[/center] --------------------------------------------------- OOC: Given that some 'Ord' planets are heavily populated, their threads will be hyperlinked from here as needed. But for other non-popular Ord planets feel free to write here, just be specific in the post to name the planet you are on, IE: place (--Ord Janon--) at the top of your post. And if possible Galactic coordinate, at least a 'Core' 'Mid-rim' 'outer rim"

--Ord Janon, Outer rim, under Imperial Remnant control. Used as a weapons storage depot and military R&R system. A lush jungle planet with much of the planets surface covered in mountains and oceans. Not very well deafened, but often has patrols from Imperial ships picking up and dropping off higher level officers that come to retreat on this distant world, or see the latest in infantry weapon development--
Sitting one small hyper-jump from the Ordnance plant of Janon, The Dragondorf waited for the small fleet of Imperial ships made their jump to light-speed. Leaving behind a few outdated orbital defense platforms and one Imperial Star Destroyer Mark III.
Once the fleet was gone Freedon motioned to his navigation crewman, who engaged the micro-jump.
The Dragondorf exploded from space a mere Kilometer from the Battle Platforms, its long range turbolasers pouring out fire the first platform was engulfed and destroyed almost instantly. As the Laser fire turned to the next station the was coming to the ready, the cannon operators aimed more specifically at the platforms generators, it didn't take long for the 2nd platform to be disabled. Shortly before the number two platform went down The Dragondorf launched its fighters to engage the ISD3 that was moving in from the Northern pole of the planet. Tie-fighters Freedon had not seen before began to counter launch. Though the ISD3 was vastly dwarfed by the Dragon, it's modern weaponry was a still dangerous. Freedon wanted the ship taken, not destroyed if at all possible. A squadron of Mutant Bombers streaked forward, carrying payloads of ion detonators, made for inducing blackouts on even the largest capital ships.
The Naddist fighters were doing a very good job of clearing a pathway for the bombers, not trying to hide the action they simply went straight for the throat. Proton torpedo's were used to bring down the ships shielding just as the bombers came into range, their payloads emptying onto the surface, even From the Bridge of the Dragondorf, Freedon could see massive sections of the ISD3 go dark, moments later his tactical Capitan reported the ISD3 was completely dark and boarding shuttles were being launched.
Crossing his arms Freedon smirked a dark smile. The Imperials had responded quickly, but their effort was in vain. Hopefully they would manage to keep the commander of that ship alive, and on their side. Launch the ground forces, I want the Imperial pockets emptied and in our cache before they have a chance to re-rout the group that just left. I do not want to have to deal with them as well.

-Ord Janon, Planet surface-
It had been one standard hour, Naddist troops had infiltrated the Janon Imperial center, a headquarters and storage depot for the Ord planet. Currently sith trained soldiers diced their way through crowds of Stormtroopers, followed by cargo droids, built to carry away as much tech and information as possible. Four large shuttles waited to be filled outside, along with Freedon, Who stood in battle garb, arms crossed and Lightsaber in hand.
He could hear the fighting ring down the hallways from the interior of the building, the screams of pain lives being ended, and the fierce battle cries from both side, Freedon did not expect loses on his side. His soldiers were battle hardened and trained in the ways of the force, even the ones who were not force sensitive. Freedon believed the more you knew about anything, the more powerful you were, knowledge was indeed power.
It wasn't much longer before things went quiet and the report came the remaining imperials had laid down their arms. They would be brought out and shown Mercy by Freedon. No he would not kill them today, today he would give them chance to join him first. It had proved easy to convince the Ord Janon Imperials to surrender to him and join his forces once they heard a few spun lies. Next time might not be as easy, he might have to deal with an actual garrison.
It wasn't more then another hour before Ships began to leave the planets surface. The Dragondorf crews had harvested the defense platforms and all remaining fighters birthed in its hold. The ISD3 was brought back on-line and sent to the Abyssal waypoint for further integration to the Naddist fleet. Stormtroopers and pilots, crewmen and ranked officers would be given a retraining and initiation as well.
Ten minutes after Freedon had re-boarded the Dragondorf, hyperspace alarms began to ring, the earlier distress signal had reached ears and the grubby Imperials were jumping into the system. Freedon waved his hands to signal the alarms off, and once again nodded to the Navigation pit. As the Imperial ships came in the Dragondorf disappeared into the streak of light.
