it was a time of galactic unrest, for nearly 50 years the Galaxy was in a constant state of gorilla warfare. the Jedi has risen to new levels of power, the Sith publicly assaulted the galactic population, The Imperials fought with the Vong, as they waged their second war on all systems.
During this period many sought to kill the desperate peace keeping Jedi. One of these men was a hired gun, a bounty hunter, trained in Killing Jedi. Known for his lightning fast reflexes, and impeccable aim, Nathan Rojen hunted Jedi for the under lords of the under worlds.
While on mission the Hunter fell in love with his target, a young Jedi woman named Ria Jade. In order to get close to her he repetitively found himself in the Jedi grounds on coruscant, wounded from other engagements. In the medical department ran by the Jedi he was supposed to kill. When it became apparent that they were meant to be together he spent the next few months trying to get out from under the under world. finally taking refuge in the temple on Ossus. Where it was discovered his reflexes were from latent force powers. He began to train under Jedi Master Luke Kardel, and spent time working as a Jedi Acolyte, running missions for the Jedi in order to strengthen the damaged Jedi.
He Married Ria Jade during this time period, shortly before the disaster of Chandrilla. Where hundreds of young Jedi were being smuggled to Ossus by a former Dark Jedi Jerry Swoops, a long time friend of Rojens, turned back to the light in his final days by the change in Nathans own life. the Jedi were ambushed by the Dark Lord of the Sith's personal fleet, there were very few survivors, Nathan being one of them. Though he lived Nathan had a complete amnesiac attack, his own sorrow of what happened suppressing all memories.
fighting his way through a dark life over the next 3 years he worked back up the ladder as just another low life in the under worlds of Chandrilla and Coruscant. But ever being lead by something within to rejoin his connection to the force. Finally being taken over by the urge he spent 2 months trying to fix his way off coruscant, leading him to Corllia and finally back into the arms of the Jedi.
When Nathan returned to the Jedi he still had no memory of who he really was, and his friends in the order where no longer with it for all intensive purposes. During this time he Met Mercy Freestrike, a Jedi Padawan. And despite being much older than her, he fell in love.
Around the end of his first month with the Jedi his old wife Ria Jade returned to the Jedi, having been on a secret mission of unknown reasoning. Having returned to finding her dead husband, alive, they were most awkward, she had moved on, and had been in a relationship with the ruling Jedi, Starkiller. Nathan having recovered some of his memory got an official divorce, his love belonging to the Jedi Freestrike now, it was all very soap opera-esk.
Three months past, his old Master, Luke Kardel also returned from his self given banishment and was graciously given back his spot on the Jedi council. Luke Began to retrain Nathan and sent him on many missions with Jedi Freestrike, where the twos love was bonded. It wasn't long before they were married, while things were going well on a personal level for Nathan Rojen, a dark figure loomed in the galaxy. Wreaking havoc on the galaxy. The missions grew worse and worse, leading to the capture of Mercy by the Sith Lord, En-rout to rescue his wife Nathan was given a vision from the force, explaining to him that he would die, but is legacy would live on through the child growing in Mercy's womb.
As the rescue unfolded Nathan then sacrificed himself to save the lives of his family and friends. In a final showdown that rocked the force, Nathan was able to greatly injure the Dark Lord halting his persecution of the Jedi for at least a while. Giving himself to the up the Jedi known as Rojen, became one with the force.
Mercy and the others were rescued that day, all of them sustaining tremendous injury, and while the doctors healed Freestrike it was discovered she was pregnant. So while she morned the loss of her Husband, she was determined to raise the child to be strong like his father. Naming him Ranoc Freestrike Rojen on birth she was once again comforted by the spirit of her husband one last time.
Ranoc Rojen now starts his Jedi tutelage in the Jedi temple his Father helped save and build in the last years of his life.
