Jace shrugged. What if she has gotten off planet already though Mez?" He turned his attention to the Chiss now. As Jedi it's our duty to help people. I'm sure you saw everything that happened with that Nessa woman. How about we speed this process up a bit so we can maybe help this Rico guy?"

"We've hardly been here enough time for her to already be offplanet. There are certain laws of physics even she must obey, and I can hardly see one of the Aing Tii teaching her anything about how to disobey those laws."
Mez looked down at the boy who'd decided to tie himself to her. "Besides which. Our new friend here has a certain set of procedures he has to follow as well."

Jace sighed but didn't protest any further.

Suruc looked between the two of them.
The woman calling herself by the name of the dead was a terrible Master.
"We did indeed see what happened with her. We saw your Master place you in danger and in Miss Henlan herself we saw pain. An acceptable lie told to her, but pain nonetheless."

Mez rolled her eyes. "That's the problem with merging Intel and Security. Intelligence is for seeing all that there was to see. Security USED to be for taking an active part in the Temple in specific, rather than with anywhere outside of the Temple unless it directly reflected a threat against us here." She glanced over at the Chiss and slumped slightly. "And I'm not a terrible Master. I've never had a padawan before."
