Ras ignored Mulokhai's glare as he set the crate down to light a cig, damnable women was a slave driver - which he thought mildly was a comparison that would probably make her throw a fit if he voiced it. Not a good idea Ras he told himself glancing at her from the corner of his eye. Her red skin was quite striking - it was too bad she often had such a foul look on her face.
"Calm down Khai, Corellia's not going to evaporate because the crates get loaded a bit later"
He remarked further infuriating her by sitting down on the offending crate and having a look about the hanger.
"Too bad - might teach you not to be so lazy"
She remarked off handedly to which he rolled his eyes and blew smoke at her, turning her back to him she caught sight of Rothk and tipped her head slightly making her lekku shift.
"Whats a kid doing running about here?"
She said - mostly to herself although Ras choose to comment on it.
'No clue..lets ask him....Hey BOY! come over here a second"
Ras yelled at Rothk, ignoring the look his companion gave him, Force she needed to calm down he thought to himself.

Rothk turned to the voice yelling at him. It took a second for him to find exactly who had yelled out amongst all the other voices that echoed in the hanger. He made his way carefully over to the man and woman, avoiding another wave of people carrying crates to be loading into the various ships. He stopped in front of the man and looked at him inquisitively, saying nothing.

"not very talkative huh?" Ras remarked after a few moments of the boys staring. Mulokhai frowned at him for a few moments before turning her attention to the boy.
"I wouldn't speak to you ether if you'd shouted at me from halfway across the hanger" The Twi'lek responded to which Ras shrugged slightly and motioned to the rest of theh anger with an obvious look on his face as thought to say - had to yell, how else would he have heard me. Winking at Rothk he took a last puff of his cig before putting it out on the edge of the crate despite Khai's disgusted look.
"I'm Ras..and the cranky one we call Khai, what are you doing wandering about the hanger? rather dangerous you know"
He remarked although his tone of voice wasn't disapproving or chastisting.

Shrugging Rothk watched the man put out his cigarette.
"I was just looking around. It's not as dangerous as some places I have been. There are alot of ships here. Jet is gonna take me with her when she leaves on a mission. I guess you are part of that too."
His eyes turned to the Twi'lek and looked at her with awe. He hadn't seen any people who weren't human in his few days here on Corellia.

Miko, who had been running diagnostics on his StarViper as it hunge from the hangar's extensive rack system, had just engaged the holofield screen that made up the fighter's visual scanning suite when he noticed the hangar had gotten a whole lot more crowded.
Curious, he disengaged the holofield and keyed the hatch, which cracked down the middle seam and slid to either side. Instead of hopping out of the Viper's cockpit rigging he simply yelled to one of his fellow Thruvarans, who had turned their head his direction upon the sound of the hatch opening.
"Du Konrad," he said in an informal tone. "Was gibt's?"
He nodded to the new arrivals, including what seemed to be a motley, scruffy-looking crew of longshoremen and a boy.
Konrad Karelia, who'd been fishing around one of the hangar's tool sleds for the right hydrospanner bit, glanced up at the new arrivals and back to Miko, shrugging.
"Keh Ahnung. Hab se noch nicht vorher gesehen."
Yet, with his own curiosity piqued, the Thruvaran Reiter and Commander of the Air Cav stood and had himself a closer look, finally remarking more to himself than Miko: <<Their women swing their hips like femme fatales and their men swagger like blaster jockeys. No doubt the Diktat's appointed crew that the Captain told us about.>>
Miko followed Konrad's gaze, discerning their identity for himself. It certainly seemed like the party was finally getting started.

Khai returned the kids look with one of her own - though he look softened somewhat as she realized that he wasn't gaping at her in disgust but had probably never seen a Twi'lek before - which was odd as they were rather numerous in the Galaxy.
"Where are you from?"
She asked softly, ignoring Ras as he commented "obviously someplace dangerous" although he had a rather curious look on his face - why would Jet be bringing a kid on this mission - it didn't really seem like a suitable environment for a child.

"I'm from Dathomir, my mother is a leader of one of the clans there. She brought me and my sister here to train with Jet."
He fell silent for a few moments still studying the Twi'lek in fascination. Hesitantly he asked the question he didn't want to ask but felt the need to.
"What are you?"

Ras arched a brow at the boy and glanced at Khai with a sigh - he already knew where her thoughts were going, as foul tempered as Khai was she had a soft spot for the disadvantaged, and a male on Dathomir clearly fit the bill.
"Ah well your a fairly lucky little kid then"
He remarked in reference to Jet training him and Khai a few moments ago so gung-ho about moving along now seemed quite content to speak with the kid - women.
"I'm a Twi'lek, You haven't been out much have you? I bet your glad to get off Dathomir"
Khai remarked in a soft tone - poor kid was probably destined to be a slave, a fate Jet had already rescued her from once. From the sounds of it Jet was planning to rescue this kid too.

Rothk nodded.
"I've never seen a Twi'lek before. I think mother told me about them once, but I can't remember for certain."
He paused for a moment.
"I am glad to be off Dathomir since it means I get to have some real training. Mother tried to teach me what she could but it was always in secret and she is always busy with clan things. I do miss it somewhat though, especially the other kids I used to play with. This is my first time off of Dathomir, and I have only see the mansion and the inside of that ship."
He pointed towards the Punda Milia, his mothers recently acquired from the dusty corner of the hanger ship.

Ras glanced over his shoulder at the ship, it was a decent looking thing although a bit of an older model.
"ah well - the ship you'll be going on is a fair bit larger then that"
He remarked recalling the briefing. Khai on the other hand seemed to have keyed into a different part of the conversation.
"It is hard to leave friends sometimes" she agreed "but no one would ever go anywhere if they were always afraid of such things - you will make new friends, and see your old ones again I'm sure."

He looked at Ras.
"When can I see the ship?"
Turning his attention back to Khai.
"I think I already have."
He commented about making new friends.

"Well"
Ras stated standing up and giving Khai a meaningful look.
"I imagine as soon as we get around to leaving - which means we have to get these things loaded onto the transports over there"
He finished nodding in the direction of several matte black Dangerous Waves transports idling on the hanger deck. Khai smiled at the kid and catching Ras' look took hold of her side o the crate again.
"maybe so, I'm sure we'll see you on the ship"
She stated as she and Ras headed off towards the transports, glancing back over her shoulder once.
"Be careful in here"

Rothk waved goodbye to the two as they carried the crate off. The hanger was still buzzing with activity, but amide all the other voices he did pick out one that he recongized and headed towards it. He found Jet with two men, one he remembered from the other day and the other he didn't recognize. He looked at Jet as she fiddled with something.
"What you doing?"

Taaru's humor nearly flew over Aaron's head. The young Praetorian was able to sense the subtle change in the flow of things however and one corner of his mouth lifted as he realized Taaru was being...well, Taaru.
Aaron took a few steps forward and examined the armor, leaning this way and that to allow for better vantage points. He nodded after a few moments and addressed Taaru without shifting his gaze from the suit. "I read something about an hydrostatic gel body suit that goes on before all this," he stated simply. "And the possible additions to incorporate beskar and cortosis. We doing any of that?"

Jet glanced over at Rothk as he approached - she had noticed him earlier speaking with Ras and Khai - but had left him alone to fend for himself keeping a small amount of attention on him through the force. As far as team members went Khai and Ras were probably the better ones for him to run into - or at least the ones least likely to send him off into trouble.
Darren had abandoned her to speak with Nik who had made his way over, the two fo them were eying the Thruvarans. This was going to be such a fun trip Jet thought sarcastically. Rothk finally made his way to her and asked his question.
"I'm working on The Chaser - machines need care to keep working, same way a living creature does..hand me that tool there"
She said pointing to one of the tools laid out near him.
