Jet was in the process of wrapping up her meeting with Devlin,Sagara and Amber when she sensed Taaru's return to the mansion, she expected a message and was not disappointed. Steepling her fingers she eyed the three before her - to them she was entrusting something she had bled for, fought for...pledged herself to on a level that couldn't be broken without, in a sense, breaking herself. It was hard to leave, but necessary - and she had prepared them to the best of her abilities. Their silent eyes looked back at her - Sagara perhaps the only one who truly understood.
"Meet me in the hanger " she told them quietly "it won't be long now" Devlin and Amber filed out with slight nods, Sagara lingered, hovering by the door with a questioning look on her face. "Later" Jet told her without bothering to look up as she finished closing out the conference room's computer systems. Sagara however didn't seem convinced and Jet finally looked up at her with an arched brow - it didn't take more then that for Sagara to follow her companions out the door, Jet followed shortly after.
Entering the kitchen she finds Taaru searching the kitchen - and a lack of the droids usually stationed here. It was a sight Jet had grown used too - most of the Mansions droids made themselves scarce when Taaru was around, with perhaps the exception of Ice. In fact - and it amused her to have seen it from the security room - you could practically track Taaru's movements through the mansion by the wave of fleeing droids which preceded him, always just out of his sight. The random thought made her smile slightly while she poured herself a drink and greeted him.
"Taaru"

Taaru has his head in the fridge when Jet arrives, so he doesn't immediately hear her greeting over the noise of the compressor. But he does get the general jist of the thing through his more supersensory qualities.
He turns and closes the fridge door with a foot, setting a gallon of milk, bread and lunchmeat on the table with an already motley collection of sandwich ingredients.
"Oy, Jet. Good that you got here first. I have something for you to look at before everyone else gets here."
Smacking his hands together to clear it of bread crumbs, he fishes his datapad out of the breast pocket of his duster, which he has hung on a nearby hook intended for pots.
Handing it to her, he queues up the security footage from the CCC, centered on the three uniformed men.
"Recognize those uniforms...or the insignia on them...at all?"

"I was in the conference room, its closer then everyone else" she remarked while accepting the datapad with some curiosity - one never knew just what Taaru would show you after all. Instantly recognizing the footage as that coming from the CCC's security she pays more attention, eyes narrowing slightly as she eyes the uniformed men.
A flicker of recognition crosses her eyes, she has seen if not these exact uniforms then something similar in the past, or perhaps it is the men themselves which spark the familiarity. turning away from the datapad she stares unerringly in the direction of the CCC - as though she could see them even through the walls and landscape separating them, casting her mind back to distant memories as she tries to find the one that fits.
When it finally hit's her Jet finds herself startled and turns back to Taaru. "No..." absently she hands him back the datapad "That can't be right" but of course it could be...situations change after all and sometimes people thought long gone do come back she reminded herself.

Erika woke to the beeping of her comm link. Immediately she jumped out of bed, she checked the message and looked at the time. She had slept long enough, there would be time to sleep on the ship. Taking a few moments of freshen up and change her clothes she changed out of her traditional Dathomir robes and into something that resembled civilians clothes. They were not as comfortable to her as the clothes she normally wore, but they were far more practical for travel. Heading to the turbolift she made her way down to the main floor. Entering the kitchen she nodded to Taaru and Jet.

Jorunn standing behind Taaru, takes interest in Jet's reaction, and queries Taaru on it in Thruvaran. He politely dismisses the question, in the same language, then turns back to Jet.
"So you recognize them as well? I've only ever seen them in old footage and records....before my time with you, you know?"
He has taken to interlacing various sliced meats and cheeses on his sandwich, followed by a few garnishes.
"I must admit, I was hesitant to show you this. I'm sure you'll want to stay on Corellia now...I was pretty intent on having you with us for the trip."
He nods to Erika as she walks in, motioning for her to make herself comfortable while the others arrive.

"what?" Jet whose attention had turned to Erika as she walked in whipped her head around to look at Taaru eyes ticking to Jorunn for a few moments before focusing on him again again "Don't be absurd...it changes nothing" Jet eyed Taaru with suspicion - well recalling his earlier attempts to talk her into staying.
"If its truly who I think it is - and it really can't be anyone else under that insignia then Corellia will be in no danger, if things have changed - and he no longer considers me a friend then it won't matter where I am" Freedon Nadd was older then anyone could really recall - and she doubted it was in her scope to truly stop him if he decided to fix her and Corellia in his sights. She would try obviously - but the end result would probably be the same as if she just stepped aside. they had parted on good terms however - and Jet could only hope those good terms still existed. He had been Grifters uncle and so related to Amber. "If...things are still good between us we might just have regained a powerful Allie"

"So it would seem," he says without much conviction, taking a bite from his finished sandwich.
It was common knowledge that Taaru didn't agree with Jet on the subject of alliances with the Sith. He was too much a student of history to be convinced that some 2nd rate familial relationship would be enough to dissuade the definition of power hungry from coming to call whenever it pleased.
Also, unlike Jet, he was pretty sure Corellia would give any Sith a decent find. It was hard to apply such terms as "Pyrrhic victory" to the Sith, as they valued only themselves, but if there was one truth about them, it was that they were predictable. Masako really didn't consider them anything more than pests....the same consideration was valid for Jedi.
"Point being, however," he gestures with the sandwich,"That you may want to inform Devlin, Sagara and Amber of this new development so they'll know to deal with it appropriately when the time comes."

Since Taaru didn't attempt to argue with her about her leaving Corellia in the face of this new information Jet's gaze lost its hardened look, turning more thoughtful. "He's a sith...Its never what it seems with them" she remarked "But its far wiser to remain on friendly terms where possible then go about poking them with sticks, lets leave sleeping Dragons be"
The sith were sneaky true, and they enjoyed trying to outmaneuver both their enemies and their allies - but for the most part you knew that upfront and expected it from them, Jet had played this game with DL, with Jak..and with Freedon in the past - and regardless of their ulterior motives their 'we'll leave you alone if you leave us alone' treaties had proven far more reliable then the Jedi - whom Jet didn't trust as far as she could throw them, especially with that serpent mouthed Grand Master currently at the helm.
"I'll let Amber know, she'll relay it to the others"

"It's of little concern now, anyway. If my hunches prove true about the Leyline, we won't have to worry about Sith anymore....."
In fact....we won't be worrying about much of anything, ever again.
He settles onto a chair, intent on finishing his sandwich.

"Well thats why we're going out there isn't it...you and your hunch" she stated to Taaru as he sat down. "Although I for one am hoping for a more optimistic light to this discovery - as unlikely as that might be" She finished.
Her eyes settled on Jorunn, she had hoped for the chance to ask Taaru if her suggestion to Aaron about leaving her alone should be upgraded to an order...or wheather he thought it better just to let them work whatever problems they had amidst themselves, but there was still time for that inquiry later and she gave the girl a slight smile. "If you hungry..help yourself" she offered before pulling out a chair and joining Taaru, she didn't make the same offer to Erika for obvious reasons - Erika lived here, Jorunn was a guest, her attention refocusing on him.
"However if you've come up with any new amendments to your hunches..."

Darren skid into the kitchen at about the same time as Taaru sat down at the table - he'd obviously hurried in from the hanger, somewhat late - though the blond haired man didn't seem apologetic to that fact, he had after all be seeing to the last minute preparations. Instead his face lit up as he declared.
"Oh! Sandwiches!"
And turned to the fridge, the clattering of which indicated he was planning to make his own meal, casting a glance backwards he spotted Jorunn who upon his entrance he had heard Jet offer to help herself.
"You want one?"

Jorunn raises a curious eyebrow. She has not yet met this man, but Taaru had mentioned in an aside that there was a contingent of Corellian mercenaries joining the crew. Judging from the insignia on his shoulder patch and the fact he was important enough to be called by Taaru, Jorunn correctly guesses he must be their commanding officer.
And, she supposes, in ways of introductions, sandwiches are a good start.
She nods her assent at his offer: "Please...."
She also thanks Jet for her hospitality with a flitting smile.

Darren gave her thumbs up and turned back to the fridge "Wise choice..I have it on - well basically only my squads authority - that I am a pretty decent sandwich maker, but they are a picky bunch so I consider it high praise." Darren rambled as he pulled out a wide assortment of good for the second time in less then a half hour.
Displaying them all on the counter he started rummaging around for plates, finding them at long last and laying out two before starting to open one of the jars. "So whats your fancy?" He asked Jorunn nodding towards the spread. "Jorunn right? I'm Darren, Darren Archer..and I'd shake your hand but said hands are currently busy making lunch"

Aaron walked into the kitchen, a small boy riding on his back, hands clinging to the man's neck while his legs looped through his arms. "Evening everyone," said Aaron as he placed the boy on the counter.
"You hungry," Aaron asked the boy. Aaron smiled and looked up at everyone after the boy had shook his head. "Ok, what'd I miss?"
The boy looked around the room at all the adults, recognizing a few of the room's occupants thanks to Aaron's descriptions. His eyes widened in surprise, however, before they focused on the floor when he recognized jet.

Jet looked up as Aaron entered with a kid on his back, her eyes instantly took on a 'what have you done?' look. Jet's attention turned from Taaru and spun several different reasons why Aaron of all people would be walking around with a kid - and very few of them were good, she recalled vaguely the few times one of the DJO had approached Grifter to tell them they were pregnant and thought maybe Aaron was on to something by springing a kid on her this way....and then she considered beating him unconscious if he told her he'd knocked up some bar maid.
"Taaru's meeting..not mine" Jet responded "Who's your company?" She continued in a mild tone, turning her attention to study the kid in more detail, now that she focused on him rather then wringing Aarons neck her eyes flickered with interest...there was potential there...lots of it.
