History: Raised in Hanna City on Chandrila, Thera was the only child of two local politicians, and like most Chandrilan children was schooled in politics, debate art and other skills that pretty much get you no-where in the real world. Despite the facts that her education would be useless were she to ever enter any field other than politician on any other planet, she excelled in school, entering the local university at the age of 14. When she was 16, however, a feud broke out between her family and another local political group, leading to the deaths of her mother, aunt, two uncles, and three cousins, as well as several people in the other political group. A traveling Jedi came to mediate the dispute, and the Jedi also found that Thera was Force sensitive. After settling the feud, the Jedi invited Thera to travel with her for a time before they both returned to the Jedi Temple on Ossus for Thera to complete her training.
