Taaru stands at the top of the boarding ramp, supervising as the rest of the Thruvarans unpack their gear from the storage hold and head down it. He also admonishes the Scholls, again, for their horseplay, breaking up their antics and nearly booting them off his ship, though thinking twice about it for appearances sake.
As his XO approaches, he happens to catch a snippet of conversation.
"...and I have to be home by 12."
"If by home, you mean whatever tiny bunk room they have set up for you and the rest of us, that can certainly be arranged. Beyond that, all bet's are off," the comment is paralleled by a sheepish grin, which Taaru greets with a measure of bemused skepticism.
"Reglia, as I recall, we had your flirtatiousness registered as a toxic substance after it ate a hole into my patience. Do I need to properly dispose of it through the required channels?"
"As lovely as your mitigation plan sounds, Masako, I remind you have I purchased flirtation credits in the meantime, and am well within acceptable emissions."
Masako laughs and shakes his head, shooing his CO off the ship before grabbing his own bag and heading down the ramp.
As the group makes for the hangar exit into towards the stern side, Taaru makes his way over to Jet and her mercenaries. Reaching within earshot of her: "If you're ready, I'd like to meet this captain of yours, Jet."

Jet was eyeing the Corellian's with a look halfway between threatening and amusement as they gathered their belongings. Darren however seemed quite adept at keeping them from crossing the line and so she left him to it, preferring instead to lend the majority of her attentions to the news she had received fro Devlin. Not even gone - and already some problem had arose.
Placing that on top of the impending doom of a social function Jet nerves were somewhat frayed, although outwardly there was not sign of this those who knew her well enough - or were keen enough to feel it through the force would know she was if nothing else slightly unsettled.
She did not however fail to notice Taaru approach and was already turning towards him when he spoke. "Of course, I believe she's waiting for us" A nod of her head gestured towards the waiting Captain. With a gesture to Taaru she led them both off towards the waiting Twi'lek, Giving Aaron a look as she does so.

Aaron, having taken on a bit of a leadership role amongst the Corellians, helped Darren usher them off of the Chaser and onto the deck. One of the women offered to keep an eye on Adrien for a few moments while Aaron handled some things and another crewmember even took their bags.
After a few more moments of chatting and well wishes, all the while staring at the Faustus, Aaron made his way over to where Jet and Taaru stood. "I dunno what's prettier," he said as he approached the pair, grinning. "The ship, the captain or the Diktat."

Aralee watched as Jet and Taaru conversed for a few moments, being joined by another man before heading in her direction, although not a large twi'lek by any means she unconsciously pulled herself up straighter.
As they got within speaking rang she saluted them out of respect before speaking. "Diktat Almeara, Commander Masako" she greeted each in turn. "I hope your flight was smooth?"

It wasn't long before the movement in the corner of his eye was noticed, and elicited the same feelings of mistrust and suspicion he had felt when Jet had first recommended Cpt. Aralee'Galor for assignment to the Faustus.
But the captain's pips on her collar elicited a different sort of response. Taaru saluted the captain in return, formally. While the deeply ingrained part of his ancestry protested, he greeted her with an open hand and what geniality he could muster.
"A little bumpy through the jet stream, ma'am, nothing more. And I apologize, I'm the one that should be saluting you."

While Taaru mastered his inner feelings and greeted the Captain in a formal and at least neutral tone Jet nodded in response to the salute and waited before offering her own hand. She hadn't been sure just what she expected from this meeting - given Taaru's outburst when she'd assigned the Twi'lek..but thus far it seemed to be going alright.
"As he said - an uneventful trip when compared to some"

Aralee smiled and accepted the offered hand "Perhaps so Sir, but those of us schooled on Corellia are well aware of your past achievements on behalf of our system, and so it was matter of personal choice"
She nodded slightly in response to Jet and shook her hand as well before speaking once more "well lets hope the rest of our journeys together follow that example shall we?"

Aaron nodded rather than salute or shake the hand of the Captain. After all he was technically just a citizen. That didn't stop him from acting like himself however. Leaning backwards, he eyed Jet from behind and made a thoughtful sound. "The Jet stream does look a little bumpy." He leaned forward again and looked off in the distance, whistling a soft tune.

Flattery, it seemed, was the best way to get on Taaru's good side.
Grinning ever so slightly, he continues the conversation.
"I take it Prof. Maxillarian still insists on devoting 3 weeks to the New Carida campaign at the Academy, yes?"
While he overhears Aaron's comment, he leaves her to deal with him, and makes a mental calculation on how long it would be before he found himself outside an airlock.
Back to the Captain.
"And the trip should be uneventful. That's what Prowlers are built for, after all."
Nevertheless, he wonders to himself, a Prowler performs only as good as its commander.

Upon hearing Aaron, Jet half turns to give him a withering look, allowing for a brief moment an outwards flare of force power directed at him in a cold wave. A warning..and it lasted but a second before she turned back.
"No doubt it will be, Faustus has been well designed and Aralee has been running the crew through drills for some time now - we need only to assign Aaron his duty in the janitorial department and the vessel will be fully staffed"

Aralee chuckled slightly "Indeed - though very few of us complain, and the Engineers tell me Prof. Rellian spends several lectures expressing the ingenuity of your designs "
Overhearing Aaron she casts a frown towards him, she is aware of who he is - but doesn't seem intimidated by this in the least. In her opinion he was going to be a troublemaler - a distraction aboard her vessel.
"As the Diktat states - the crew has been excelling in the drills and simulatiosn I have run them through - if you would like Sir, I can get you copies for your on peace of mind?"

Aaron smiled devilishly when the cold wave hit him. After a shiver had run down his spine he gave Jet a now, now look. "What's the matter Madame Diktat," he asked humorously. "It's not like the dress is riding up or something." Pausing for a moment, Aaron leaned close to Jet's ear. "You look incredible," he whispered sincerely before pulling back.
Putting his hands in his pockets, Aaron sighed at the janitor comment. "At least let my shift start after the ceremony. I don't want to ruin my suit," he said, looking himself over dramatically. "Hmm, my stream looks quite bumpy as well."

"I am nothing special, Captain, I assure you. I just have the time and energy to bring talented people together to get the necessities done."
"As for your training logs, I wouldn't mind glancing through them. I'd like to know how the marine regiment is doing, at the very least, and meet it's second officers and sergeants."
And, as if having forgotten it until now: "Also, if there's time after the ceremony, I was wondering if I could have a chat with your AI."

Jet might have reacted even stronger to Aarons teasing - being somewhat on edge already due to what she considered impending doom...had he not had the good sense to mollify her with a compliment a that exact moment. Rather then force calling to her the nearest hefty tool she instead merely cast him a look. "We'll see ho well you can behave for the remainder of the evening"

Erika waited for the other Corellian's to leave the ship before gathering up her belonging and followed them out. She took a moment to stop at the bottom of the ramp and glance up at the Faustus. It was indeed a beautiful ship and she looked forward to seeing the inside of it as well.
Seeing Jet with Taaru, Aaron and a Twi'lek she could only guess was the captain by her uniform she made her way over to them. But gave them a little room as she was sure they would be dealing with some official business that she had nothing to do with.
