Even more recently Master Starkiller has taken on the attributes of an insomniac and can rarely be seen in public.
History/Background: Patrick started his jedi training under the watchful eye of rogue Jedi Master Tar'Kyramud on the remote planet of Tatooine after his parents were ritualistically murdered by a tribe of Tusken Raiders. Unfortunately his master was killed when he was 15, forcing Patrick to travel to the Jedi Academy on Cularin in order to finish his training.
Within weeks of joining the Jedi Order Patrick was elevated to the level of Junior Jedi Knight and was assigned to investigate a group of mutated Hsiss dragons with Chaz Vate.
A few months later Patrick decided to convert to the Grey side of the Jedi order and actually demoted himself by becoming Jedi Knight Rhapsody Synicate's Padawan learner. He remained her Padawan for a year until he was captured by the yevethans while continuing his investigation of the mutated Hsiss.
Patrick was held captive and tortured by Yaj Dijani for over a year until he was to be sacrificed along with other captives in the great arena. The Jedi order had sent an attack group and freed the captive Jedi. Patrick was instrumental in freeing the Tasarin the Yevethans had inslaved. It was these actions that drove Jedi master Xenn Zhu to override Patrick's master and declare him a full fledged Grey Jedi Knight. Patrick celebrated by proposing to his former master.
After the birth of his children, Aaron and Kasi, Patrick was promoted to the level of Head Instructor of the Jedi Academy and Captain of the newly reconstructed Chu'Unthor when Master Zhu went missing.
Years passed and the Jedi Order had all but faded from existence. Patrick's own wife and daughter had gone into exile while his son had joined the DJO. Jedi Master Ria Jade had been left as acting Grand Master of the Jedi Order and requested that Patrick join her on the Jedi Council. He accepted and became the Jedi Historian while retaining his position of Head Instructor. It wasn't long until the two, always being in close proximity to one another, became romantically involved.
Like everyone before her, Ria Jade chose to leave Patrick behind and went into exile herself. This left Patrick as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, and the only Jedi Master within the order.

After just a few months the Jedi Order began to prosper and was on the verge of rejoining the rest of the galaxy but Patrick felt a disturbance in the force and went into exile, appointing Jedi Master Ulrich Enar Grand Master of the Jedi Order.
