Soon after her mother and the others left the mansion Talpha got up and finally left her room. She had wanted to watch her mother go, but something had held her back, deep inside she knew she wouldn't have been able to watch her mother and brother leave her behind.
Once downstairs Talpha walked around the mansion. It was quiet and far too empty for her liking. Only a few days before the mansion had been bustling with so many people, and now there was nothing. She sulked along the halls not sure of what to do now.
Ending up in the games room she found a comfy chair to sit in and wondered just how long her mother would be gone.

Amber closed the front door loudly behind her - letting the sound echo through the mansions halls so that Talpha could hear her coming, she didn't want to just run in on her when thus far she'd been pretty insistent on being alone.
Heading into the games room Amber gave her a bright smile "Evening Talpha"

Hearing the door slam she perked up slightly. Had her mother returned already or maybe she never planned on going on this trip anyways. It could have been a test for Talpha. But as she stretched out in the Force she found the one who entered the mansion wasn't her mother at all.
Looking up at Amber she spoke in a slightly saddened voice.
"Hey Amber."
She smiled, trying to hide her emotions but it was a useless effort.

Amber looked down at Talpha for a few moments and then laid claim to one of the other chairs in the room. The little girls felt and looked a bit sad - which Amber reflected wasn't surprising.
"Missing your mom?" She asked her sympathetically.

She nodded and the sighed.
"I didn't think I would, but I do."
She fell silent for a few minutes, battling with herself over what to say next.
"I've never been without her before. She has always been right beside me whenever I needed her, and now-"
She shook her head. There was no way to finish the sentance without crying and that was the last thing she wanted to do.

Amber nodded slightly - although she couldn't exactly relate. Jet she knew would die for her without question - and had fought in her defense many times over her life, but she had never been the close loving mother Amber saw in many other families. At least not with her, part of that Amber knew was her own fault and part of it she knew was Jet's memory of her father...but that was past and both of them were working towards a better relationship. In her on way Jet was showing this by asking her to look after Corellia while she was gone - just a short time ago Jet never would have considered such a thing.
"Well thats a normal feeling - and I'm sure your mother will miss you as well. But there are lots of fun things to do on Corellia and time will pass quicker then you think before long everyone will return"

Ever so slightly she perked up at the mention of fun things to do here.
"Like what?"
She asked. She couldn't even begin to image what things could be done here. Everything was so different than it was back on Dathomir and although she desperately missed her home as much as she missed her mother she was interested in what things happened here.

"well..." Amber thought for a few moments, idly toying with a strand of her hair for a few moments before frowning at the shade - she wasn't quite used to the red yet. "I could always teach you to fly...I'm pretty good with ships, and then theres the theatre...the zoo, we could go sailing on one of the estate lakes, or visit the farm - it used to be your great-grandmothers you know"

"I've never flown a ship before, and the only time I was ever on was when when my mother brought me here."
She thought about the other options. None of which she really knew what they were, they didn't have zoos or theatres on Dathomir. The farm however she had heard about, her mother had told her about it once or twice but there was always something under the stories about the farm which she could never quite figure out. It had been almost as if her mother secretly didn't like the farm for some reason. Not wanting to pick an option without knowing what it was she was forced to ask the question.
"What's a zoo? I've never heard of it before, or a theatre."

It was hard for amber to fathom a child growing up without knowing what a zoo or theater was - but then she supposed there was probably allot of kids out there like that, not everyone had grown up in the luxuries of the DJO - but then neither had they grown up with the dangers that came with that title either.
"well a zoo is a place where they keep animals from all over the galaxy for people to go to see and learn about - and a theater is something like the holonet" she motioned to the holonet screen before continuing "Except you go in person and watch the actors act out the story live"

"Oh" The idea behind a zoo somewhat confused her. Why would people take animals from around the galaxy and put them all in one place just so people could look at them. Couldn't they just go to the planets the animals normally lived on. Then she came across the thought of seeing some animals from Dathomir at the zoo.
"Maybe we could go to the zoo then. Do you think they will have rancor's there?"
The theatre sounds like an alright place to go but there was likely a lot of time of kill before her mother got back so she didn't want to do everything there was to do on the first day.

Amber thought for a few moments "I think they do - I think its one your grandmother got for them even, or a descendant of the one she did" She shrugged slightly and smiled at Talpha "I don't really now how long they live - thats probably something you know more about them I do"
Glancing at the time Amber nodded "but sure..I guess we can go, I don't see the harm in it"

"They do live a long time, but I don't know if it would be the original one or not without seeing it."
A smile crossed her face, seeing animals from Dathomir would help a bit with her homesickness and perhaps getting out of the mansion for a bit would take her mind off what happened in the training room.
"So when can we go?"

Leaping out of the chair Talpha nodded to Amber as she ran out of the room towards the turbolift. Sliding to a halt at her room door she flung it open and set about quickly getting cleaned up. Changing into some clothes her mother had left for her she found them to be a little odd feeling. She had been used to wearing the traditional robes of Dathomir, not the pants and shirt than she found herself wearing now.
She took a moment to brush her hair and tie it in a single braid. Then grabbing a small pack she rushed back to the turbolift. Once on the ground floor she ran down the hall glancing in at Amber as she ran past games room she yelled out.
"I'm ready!"
Then continued her way to the front door where Amber told her to wait for her.
