Even Jedi need to rest and relax. The Personal Chambers are located in the western tower of the Jedi Temple. Each Jedi has their own private quarters. There are several levels to the Chambers, each can be accessed via turbolift. Each room comes fitted to meet the users needs, all come with bathroom facilities and a kitchen, as well as a bedroom and lounge. Ground Floor: Entry to Chambers. Retinal scan is needed for access. Two Jedi Masters guard this area at all times.
1st Floor: Chambers for visitors and guests.
2nd Floor: Jedi Knight Chambers
3rd Floor: Jedi Initiate and Padawan Chambers
4th Floor: Jedi Knight Chambers
5th Floor: Jedi Master and Council Member Chambers Jedi Masters walk the halls of all the floors, to guard those who sleep and rest.

Thera exited the ’fresher toweling off her dark brown hair, pausing to watch as the small strill slept curled at the foot of her bed. Rico’s last gift for her, a token of protection when she’d been pregnant with Nessa. It was all she had left now of the man she loved, she had no idea where he’d gone or where he’d taken their daughter. Dinui, she’d named it, the Mando’a word for gift. Things were changing, a blind creature could see that. Kassandra Sigal’s ghost was back to haunting her, something she thought had ceased years ago. Chase Storm had disappeared, and she’d managed to kill off Chyvonne Hakkeber for once and for all, but still there was no communication either from the Sith or from her own people. Discarding the towel she sat on the edge of the bed, stroking Dinui’s soft baby fur for a moment before she picked a comb up from her bedside table and started to comb out her curls. Despite what would come, she could only do as she did now, continue to make her way into the shadow, perhaps into the very arms of the Sith if need be. There was no other choice, she knew her calling. Duty before all else, Master. Duty before all else.

Teklin punched his access code into the wall panel and entered his Knight's quarters for only the second time ever. After being knighted he had only a few standard hours to gather his things before he was off to Rodia.
Thinking of that experience made Teklin shudder, he was not one to take failure well. He could understand how other people could fail, but he didnt measure himself against other people.
Shaking his head to remove those thoughts he unclipped his saber from his belt and tossed it on the nightstand. He didnt even recognize the room, the cleaning droids must have redecorated it in his long absence, probably to maximize efficiency. He sat down hard on the edge of his bed and began to pull off his boots as his datapad chirped. Flipping it open he saw the message Master Halcyon had sent him in response to his report. He sent back a quick confirmation, finished taking off his boots, then flopped down onto the bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

It was in Daphne's dreams that the shadow finally descended, as if it had caught her heart between its teeth, and held it there in an iron grip.
The nightmares were agony. It was like physical pain, shot through her unconscious self, but keeping her chained to sleep, unable to escape through wakefulness.
If the shadow had a voice, that voice would be saying one word: "Mine." But as it did not, it was simply a feeling, and it filled her with fear and dread.
When she woke up, tears streaming down her cheeks that she found difficult to stem even with meditation, she still carried that terror somewhere deep within her heart.
The fear was of herself. Of what she was capable of.
For the first time in a long time, she was grateful that she no longer had a roommate. She remained in her quarters until she was composed enough to leave for training.

Shy dropped her bag onto her bunk - she had been out of system for quite some time and was looking forward to a bit of R&R. Nearly as soon as this thought left her head however her com buzzed and checking the numbers she sighed - The Council.
She had hoped for a bit of time before filing her report, however after listening to the message she found she would indeed have time - but not rest, a distress signal had been picked up and The Council was asking her to go an investigate.
Knowing that people could very well be in danger Shy wasted no time in leaving her chambers and heading back to her ship.

Mercy breathed a sigh of relief as she escaped the training room and whatever future it might have held with the GA Agent's, Mercy was quite adept s avoiding duties she didn't want - and playing tour guide to a couple of Alliance smucks was pretty high on her list at the moment.
Waving to the Temple workers she passed and stopping now and again to exchange whatever gossip they might have Mercy slowly made her way through the hallways towards the Hanger - she really did have Viper duties to Attend too - but they weren't exactly pressing and she could afford to take her time.

Qyren glanced from left to right at the doors she was passing, looking for her new Master's room. Certainly she was expected to report immediately, so they could begin their training together.
Bright movement caught her eye, and Qyren stared blankly at the blob of color walking down the hall towards her. Suddenly, she recalled why "Freestrike" had sounded so familiar, and she blinked a few times to clear her eyes of the vibrant hair-and-clothing combination. Not... exactly the standard Master, but Qyren had heard she was skilled in her own particular form of lightsaber combat.
"Master Freestrike?" Qyren asked, stopping and bowing to the woman. "I am Qyren Leret. The Council has instructed me to seek you out. I look forward to learning from you and am willing to start whenever you are ready."

Mercy pulled up short as the twi-lek stopping front of her, she was fairly used to being approached in the hallways by random people - she was Mercy after all and waited patently for whatever it was this learner wanted. Mercy assumed it would be a summons to the Council chamber...or perhaps something about Ranoc...or even a message from Daphne, the learners seemed to look up to Knights so much that they made excellent message runners when you didn't want to use official channels. Such as when you wanted to plan a party on the Temple roof...or plot an unauthorized vacation somewhere.
She was however completely unprepared for the message this learner had for her however, had even started off responding with "Tell Daph..." and had to trail off when the gist of her message manage to sink into her brain "Say what again?" asked her with a blinking confused look on her face. Surely she must have heard things wrong.

Qyren's brows pulled together slightly in a brief frown before her face smoothed out again. "I am here to learn from you?" She straightened her shoulders. "I am the new padawan the Council is assigning you. I assumed you already were aware."
She glanced over as a worker passed by, but continued speaking. "I apologize for not stating that more clearly." She resisted the urge to smooth out her Jedi tunic and kept her eyes steadily on Mercy's face. The Council was clearly springing all sorts of things on people today... Qyren wasn't sure if she was comfortable with her new Master's reaction, however. Hopefully it was only a brief confusion, and not a judgement on Qyren.
What did a learner do if their new Master refused them anyway?

"This must be Luke's doing..." Mercy stated after a few moments of silence, referring to Master Kardel with a hint of annoyance in her voice and pulled out her datapad to begin typing furiously - presumably sending said Master a message, typically she might have just gone to the council room to confront him but that seemed a tad crass with the learner standing right in front of her.
A learner Mercy realized was quite nervous about this particular encounter - and when that empathic whiff managed to announce itself Mercy stopped typing and sighed slghtly as she put the datapad away. Sithspawn...what was she supposed to do now.
Mercy settled for diplomacy and flashed the Twi-lek a dazzling smile, while exuding relaxing and pleasant feelings through the force "No no...you stated it quite clearly, the council just...forgot to inform me they were planning on giving me a Padawan it seems. I'm sure it was a clerical error..." Not. Mercy mentally added. What on earth were they thinking giving her a padawan? Didn't they see the mess she was making with Ranoc? It was probably another ploy to keep her in the Temple and off the front lines.
Well that just wasn't going to fly...chase had taken her into the field fairly early and well...she could do the same.

Qyren blinked as Mercy began tapping furiously on her datapad, her heart sinking. Apparently, she was about to find out what those learners did. To her credit, none of that negative emotion showed on her face, and she stayed erect, face impassive until Mercy paid her attention again. She was expecting a dismissal, a trip back to the Council chamber to be the one to tell them the Master was unwilling or unable to take on a padawan, the judgement that perhaps Qyren was not ready for the position, but Mercy's bright smile confused her.
She felt herself relax and even smiled slightly back, though the woman still seemed... dissheveled. "Perhaps they assumed you were ready for a new padawan and made the choice for you, Master." For some reason that came out sounding more rude than she had intended. "I mean, that you would be the best Jedi to match with me," she added hurridly.

Mercy chuckled slightly at her comment before remarking in a wry tone "New padawan...you'll be my first padawan" Mercy stated, and quite frankly she had been quite sure the Council would never give her one - I mean come on now didn't they recall what she had done as a padawan? and she was hardly what one would call a conventional Jedi. On the plus side...maybe she could be useful - Mercy perked up slightly, she was sure she could come up with plenty of training exercises that would involve time spent on fun planets. With Daphne..well and Teagan too no she supposed though Teagan might need some persuasion. She still needed to talk to Luke about this whole fiasco however.
"I guess they did" She relented after a few moments of studying the girl - who quite frankly at first look seemed a bit to stuff for Mercy's tastes, but perhaps she was judging her to harshly. "I suppose we'll be getting to now each other fairly well...what is it that you ah...like to do?"

Master Freestrike didn't seem to be fishing for a particular answer, so Qyren decided it would be best to be honest. ... If she could think of an answer. "Most of my time has been spent training. I suppose I'm mostly dedicated to that. I usually spend my little bit of free time escaping to the more remote corners of the Temple grounds to relax."
Judging from her appearance, Qyren felt that wasn't what Mercy would want to hear, but honesty was best. After all, it wasn't as if Qyren had hair to dye, the way Mercy did, nor would she want to if she had.

So they'd stuck her with the perfect little learner - she supposed that was some sort of revenge, on the plus side it sounded like Qyren wouldn't make her run off to Corellia and yank her out of a bar on a random basis...or talk the deck chief into loaning her a freighter for a vacation to Zeltros either. She supposed that might be considered perks.
"Can you fly? in a starfighter I mean?" She asked mostly out of curiosity - the Knight Vipers were fairly short of pilots at the moment and Mercy was always on the lookout for new talent there.

Qyren shook her head slowly. "No. I've only trained in one once or twice with flying, and always with a second pilot to help me if I got into trouble. I could learn to, though."
Honestly, flying would be a useful skill. The only reason they didn't teach it to younglings, Qyren thought, was that the general concept for a youngling was a child, who shouldn't be piloting a starship anyway. That prompted all sorts of horrible scenarios and Qyren's eyes shifted away for a moment before she remembered she wasn't alone and shouldn't be letting her thoughts wander.
"I want to learn that, actually," she corrected.
