"Well I would say start at the beginning; Tython was the birth place of the belief of the Force, so I'd say we start there and see if the Sith have been reborn there." Raising both eyebrows, she gave him a small, wicked smile. "Unless you have a better idea?"

"Why don't we stash my ship on yours and save on some of my gas bill, shall we?" Pulling her braid to one side of her head Thera stretched for a moment, then scooped up some of the datapads on the table beside the holocron and headed towards the door, pausing beside it to quirk an eyebrow at him. "Gentlemen first?"

"Sure." He said as he walked out of the study and towards his ship. As he did so he pulled out his comm link "R9, We're on our way back. Set up one of the guest quarters and make room in cargo bay for an xwing." he said to the droid. R9 beeped a response. "Just do it, or I'll sell you to some Jawas." he said and the cut the link.

Leave it to a Sith not to realize when they were being set up. Luckily for Heero, Thera still remembered that she owed him her life right now, and didn't just stab him in the back like she wanted to. Sith, Jedi, she wasn't sure what she was right now, but she knew it wouldn't do her any good to try and trust anyone completely. The last person she had trusted herself with was Rico, and all she'd gotten out of that was a broken heart when he'd disappeared with their daughter. She still loved him though, she was pretty sure she always would, but that didn't make the pain any less. "Sounds like my droid," she commented on his short speech with R9. "Ezio tends to have a mind of his own at times." She missed Ezio, but she knew he was busy back at the Jedi Temple, running errands for her until the time came when they could be reunited. "Tell him if he scratches the paint on my baby it comes out of his gear heads."

"Yes but that comes out the bad effects of not wiping it's memory, though the benefits out way that little side effect." he said as he started down the side of the temple. "So what's your story? Your a Jedi, and a Sith? And don't give me that whole spy thing either. I can sense the conflict in you. Even though I saved your life, a Sith would have tried to cut me down the second my back was to them. You thought about it, but didn't. I don't understand that." he said

“It’s a long story, and not all that interesting.” Thera skipped down the steps, using the Force to speed her way down the side of the Temple. There was much she couldn’t tell him, couldn’t tell anyone, hadn’t even told Rico when they were still together. “After my parent’s died I was taken in by a group of master assassins and trained by them. My Master, Darth Traya… Lady Hakkeber… wanted an assassin for a special task she had in mind. She chose me and I completed her task, and she started to train me in the ways of the Sith. Later on I was sent on another mission, I had completed most of it when a Jedi found me, attacked me, stopped me from finishing my final task. She was a wise being, very powerful, and she managed to stop me in my tracks, defeat me even with all the power I brought against her. She took me back to the Temple and swore me into the service of the Jedi, not realizing that was the plan of my Master all along. But things have a way of getting complicated. I joined the Knight Vipers and fell in love…” She landed with her knees bent on the ground beneath the Temple, looking up at him with her cold gold eyes. “And here I am.”

"I think theres a little more to it then that, but eh. You'll tell me when you ready." he said as he came off the last step of the temple. "I was a Jedi once. So was my twin, Kane. He did this to me after I left the order." he said as he raised his fore arms and then patted his legs. "He tried to take me back to the Jedi. He won that fight on Ruusan." he said as he continued to wards his ship. "To say the least, I owe him."

"We all have our problems with our families," Thera replied, leaving it at that as she followed him towards the ship. Problems was putting it mildly; her Patriarch was going to have a fit when he found out what she was doing, if he didn't just pull her from the situation. But she'd been given carte blanche from Master Halcyon to do what she had to do, and so she would, even if that meant following this path to its conclusion.

The rest of the trip back was silent. When they got back to The Long Shot Thera's ship was already on board. "R9 I'm back. Lower the entry ramp and warm up the engines. We're leaving." he ordered "Her name's The Long Shot, a VT-49 Decimator, customized with the latest in Weapons and Shields. She's my home and pride. Not many of these babies running around the galaxy anymore. Took her from a target a few years ago." he said to her as the ramp lowered and he walked up it. "Your room is at the end that way." he said as he pointed to the left. "The hold is just before your room, on the right. I'll be on the bridge. It's just up that ladder." he said as he pointed straight. "If you need anything call for me or R9." he said as he started to walk away. "Where we're going to Tatooine, right?" he asked

"Tatooine, then Korriban. If we can't find something at the end, then we'll look at the beginning." Thera undid the catch at the end of her braid and combed her dark hair out with her fingers, watching Heero walk away before she headed towards the door he had indicated, wanting to check on her ship before anything else.

"Kay, R9 plug in and set a coarse for Tatooine." He said as he plopped into the pilot's chair. "Run a systems check then start spinning up the drives. I'll check weapons, shields, and life support." he ordered as he began his checks. All came back green. "R9, every thing one my end checks out. Hows back ups and power levels?" he asked The droid tweeted and beeped. though Heero understood enough to make the all out green he looked to his screen that did the translations for him. It said 'All green and ready for preflight.' "Lighting the engines, R9 keep an eye on the generator. I don't want it acting up again.." He said as he fed more power to the engines and the repulsorlifts. He hovered up and over the trees. "She holding together R9?" he asked and got a positive beep. "Good." he said as he gave her enough power to escape the planets gravity. "That route plotted R9" he asked The droid chattered a positive. Heero pushed the hyper drive lever all the way and the stars streamed past.

The Crypt was still in every way. The air stifling. The smell suffocating. The heat near boiling. Deep in the tombs of old masters of darkness, where the lava flowed at the corners of the rooms and dust lay inches deep, sat a man with blue skin. His skin was not blue because he was cold, it was natural. In fact he had never been hotter in his life. No matter how many times he came down here searching the temperature never seemed to drop. Maybe there was still a core of light on this dead dark planet. Still the search continued. The man with blue skin was not here for treasures, ancient artifacts, or anything of physical value. He was here for the Force. The darkness that connected all living things. The essence of death itself. True the Force gave life but what is life if it is not controlled? What is life if yours is manipulated. And so, long ago, the man with blue skin vowed that he would never be made an object of control and manipulation. Instead, he would be the one behind the veil. Which is why he sits there now, in that room so dark and hot. Fighting his way into the deep veins of the Force. A voice whispered in his mind: You are hot . . . He didn't understand Then why not make it cold? An interesting thought. Cold was the absence of movement, of energy. The gears turned over in his mind as he worked out a way to perform this, difficult task. It would take a different form of absorb energy. one that is not focused on a single thing or person but at the space around him. He closed his eyes and expanded his consciousness to fill the space around him. Every detail was made aware in his mind. the dust, the lava at the edge of the room, his body, the air. Then he opened himself up to The Force. He felt the Force fill his body from top down. Feeding on that cosmic life. He saw himself in this vast universe and where he was. Then he grabbed a hold of the force and drew it to him with great force. More Force energy filled his body and his mind expanded ever outward. Through his minds eye he looked out at the room and slowly he began to drain the room of energy. If it was possible to say that the air became more still than it already was then that would describe the next events clearly. The temperature dropped and within three minutes the lava at the edges of the room began to cool. With the cooling the illumination died and The man with blue skin was left in the Dark. Slowly Avayl brought himself out of the mediation and stood up. He walked out of the Crypt and to his Ship, the Defiant. He sat on the edge of the loading ramp where he waited for his Master. . .
