"I guess it's a good thing Daphne wasn't able to go to the Viper Party," he said matter-of-factly. "Or else she never would have asked me to dance in the first place."

Teagan shrugged at her next comment and smiled knowingly. "Well, l can't completely deny that. It went a lot further than I expected though." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "Did Daphne ever tell you anything, about uh, ya know...me?"

Artoo could be seen in the background hacking into the holoprojector and shutting it off as it was still broadcasting the accident on Zeltros.

Mercy took the information that Daphne had invited Teagan to dance in good stride - Daph loved to dance, of course she'd asked him. That just made sense.

"Well..." mercy paused slightly casting her mind back to the many talks she and Daph had had about boys "She might have mentioned you a time or two, but to be honest I haven't gotten to talk to her much since Chase left" It was true, much to her dismay it seemed like they had been slowly going their separate ways as of late. Neither of their faults really - they'd just had their own personal things to attend to - she'd been mourning Nate for a long time and then searching for chase and Daph had been missing her own things and off with Teagan.

She watched R2 for a moment and then whispered to Teagan "he does know theres a remote for that right?"

Teagan nodded and watched Mercy as she seemed to be deep in thought, but he chose to not press the issue.

Grinning at Artoo's antics Teagan leaned closer to Mercy. "He probably thinks they're below him," he whispered. "Ya know...for little droids."

Artoo could be heard, in the background, making a sound reminiscent of blowing a raspberry.

"So droids like LB then" She remarked with a laugh as R2 blew his raspberry and jerking her thumb at the door where the protocol droid lingered in the hallway.

"so what are you going to tell the council?" She asked him turning her attention back to Teagan. "Cause I know Anya watches the news so..i'm pretty sure she just saw your little escapade..personally I would really play up the saving a padawans life bit and try to downplay the rest..."

Teagan shook his head. "No," he said with force. "I won't make Daphne look like less of a Jedi. I'll just tell them the truth. I asked Padawan Lightheart to accompany me on an investigation."

With a grunt, Teagan swung his legs out of the bed and sat on the edge. "I knew what I was getting into when I offered to take Daphne to Zeltros."

"Your not making her look like less of a Jedi Teagan - we all need saving once in a while, it's our hearts that dictate how good of a Jedi we are I think" Mercy responded but shrugged - it was his choice and regardless she didn't think the Council would do anything too bad - maybe yell at him a bit, but hey everyone got yelled at now and again - or maybe that was just her. Whatever.

"Well I'm sure she appreciated it - the last time we were there we didn't get to do much - sith associates trying to kill us and all"

"Our hearts seem to do a lot more than that," he said sheepishly. "Never expected mine to get me to do what I did though."

Teagan raised an eyebrow at her. "I'm quite sure she appreciated having to save my life instead of fighting sith associates," he said with a grin. "I really know how to show a girl a good time."

Mercy laughed slightly at his comment "Teagan love...your preaching to the choir there" composing herself she continued "But think about it - you could be the most skilled Jedi in the world, but if you didn't actually care...then I think you would do more harm then you would do good in the long run"

Putting the flower back in the water before it wilted she glanced at him "Oh i don't know I'm sure you guys managed to have some fun before she had to save you - and sometimes it's nice to be the one doing the saving you know, rather then the other way around and Daph need the confidence once in a while - sure she's confident around people and out partying, but she's not always the most confident in her abilities you know"

Teagan picked up the stuffed x-wing that was on his bed and threw it at Mercy. "Since when were you the serious one out of the two of us," he asked her humorously.

"I'm actually considering getting the council to sign off on an Off-world training exercise I've thought up for Daphne," he confessed to Mercy. "Just don't tell her. It needs to be a surprise."

Mercy snatched the X-wing out the air, tossing it back at his head "Pft...hardly serious, but someone had to try and keep things together while you guy's were off having fun time" she retorted."No i had to stay behind and get used as Bait by Thera who has since vanished from the order by the way"

She nodded at his last comment "Uh huh...somehow I doubt that will win you points" he paused "Do you think the council will go for it?"

Teagan took the x-wing in the face, letting it fall into his lap as he frowned over-dramatically at Mercy. "How rude. At least everyone knew where Daphne and I went."

He shrugged. "If it helps her who cares what the council thinks," he asked her, a little shocked that he was so willing to defy the council.

"Your starting to sound like Chase" She grinned at him, heck she'd been subverting the council for years, and though they knew about some of it she was fairly certain they let her get away with it mostly because it would be too irritating to try and stop her.

"But I agree..if you need any help getting them to err...look the other way or need a distraction you know who to call" she made a mock talking on a comm signal with her hand and grinned.

"Right, I'll call Tyrol, gotcha," he teased. "You can come along if you want to, as a matter of fact. It's going to be more of an adrenaline rush type of deal than an actual training exercise."

"pft...Tyrols only good if you need a ship...or something fixed" she scoffed at him, pretending to be somewhat perturbed by his insinuations. She considered for a few moments- it sounded like whatever Teagan had planned it might be somewhat fun still...

"Well...only if your sure I won't be a third wheel, I'd hate to you know..butt in on you guy's or anything"

Teagan rolled his eyes. "We're not even an item yet and you're already playing the third wheel card," he scolded her playfully. "Besides, for all we know she's going to ask me to back off."
