Mercy spun back around and shrugged slightly "I suppose but Ranoc is fine in the Temple, that's how I grew up - and I'd hope when he got older he'd understand why I couldn't always be there. They know that too - I don't always think they trust me not to fudge things up without Chase and you guys around to bail me out - I mean lets face most of the missions I went on ended up with someone not coming back..I got captured,Chase got captured,Nate died..."

When Teagan finished putting on his boots he looked at Mercy for a moment before standing up and walking over to her. He crouched down in front of her and grimaced in pain for a moment before putting his hands on her shoulders. "Mercy," he said softly. "None of that was your fault. Chase knows that. So does Nate."

Mercy smiled at him "Thanks Tegan..and I know your right, Chase if anything blames himself and that's why he's dissapeared...but Nate should blame me you know, I never told anyone but Chase and the Council never asked - but I gave myself up that day, The Armored Aan didn't knock me out and capture me - he cornered me and promised to leave you all alone if I went with him or he'd just kill me then and there - so I did, I thought maybe I'd get the chance to get close enough to finish him off - but if I hadn't gone out that day to investigate or 'd just let him kill me Nate wouldn't have gone on that insane rescue mission"
She shrugged and waved it off "but..I know he doesn't blame me, Nate wasn't like that, it's my own demons and your injured so I shouldn't be burdening you with silly things like that"

Teagan gave Mercy a sympathetic look and pulled her into a hug. He chose to ignore her mentioning his current state, even though staying in this position was killing him, and just rubbed her back. "You're responsible for your decisions, just like Nate was responsible for his," he told her reassuringly. "Don't you think I regret not going on that mission myself? If I had gone I could have saved him. If you're to blame for Nate's death than so am I."

"Well thats just silly" Mercy stated when he tried to tell her he should have been responsible for Nate's death too, but of course that was Tegan's whole point in the comment she figured so she let her voice trail off. Wiping her eyes slightly - she'd thought she'd stopped crying over that whole incident months ago Mercy became aware that Teagan, though he was ignoring it, had to be hurting in the position he was in and pushed him away with a smile, shoving her chair back to stand up.
"Your a good friend Teagan, just uh..don't tell the council what I said okay - I don't think they'd be quite so forgiving" She gave him a lopsided grin "come on..lets get you out of here"

"What you said," he asked her, grinning back."I'm not sure I follow." He walked back around his bed and picked up his tunic and slipped it on, tying the waistband loosely. He slung his utility belt over his shoulder and hung his robe over his arm.
"I'll let the learners clean all this up," he said, gesturing to the decorations around the room.

Mercy smiled at him in thanks and nodded as she glanced at the decorations "No worries I'm sure they'll deliver it to your room safely enough" She teased, at least her sad spurts about nate were no longer huge fits where she dissolved into tears for hours on end - they were just brief moments of missing him, mostly - she tended to think of the happy times more then the bad - which was probably a good thing. Walking towards the door she threw it open.
"LB! Get out of the way!" She barked at the poor droid who shambled off from blocking the door muttering apologies as she stepped into the hallway and waited for Teagan.

Teagan couldn't help but laugh at how Mercy treated poor LB. She sounded like he did when he yelled at Artoo. He shook his head as he headed out into the hallway and made his way out into the lobby of the Med Center with Mercy, the droids bickering behind the two Jedi.
One of the nurses looked up, catching sight of the Skywalker boy. She blinked a few times as he waved at her politely and left the Med Center.
After getting a grip on herself the nurse looked down at her records and her jaw dropped as she read Skywalker's condition. He wasn't scheduled to be leaving for 2 more days. By the Force he wasn't even supposed to be able to stand for another day, never mind stroll out.
The nurse quickly made her way to the room Skywalker had been staying in and looked around for any signs of malpractice. She found none and decided to place a call to the one of the instructors of the academy to request a team of learners to assist with the clean up of the patient's room.
She dropped her comm, however, when she looked up. She brought her hand to her mouth as she caught sight of a paper ship lazily floating about the room...
