Located atop the highest tower of the Jedi Temple, the Council Room is a medium sized circular room. The room is decorated plainly and is ringed by the council member's chairs. Windows make up nearly all of the walls, creating a beautiful view and a soothing atmosphere. Outside the room is located the waiting area. Be sure to inform the council of your arrival by entering your name in the information recorder located beside the door. Feel free to take a seat and wait patiently. The council will be with you shortly. Be sure to stand in the center of the room and bow respectfully when entering the room. Current Council Members: Anya Halcyon Patrick Starkiller Luke Karrdal

Teklin transmitted Jedi authorization codes down to the surface of the planet as he came in on a familiar approach vector to the temple's hangers. His Z-95 headhunter had seen better days, having been barely able to make the jumps from Rodia back to the temple.
As soon as he landed, Teklin started the transmission to the Jedi Council of his mission report. He had spent hours writing it during the long hyperspace journey, but he still didnt think the words were right. How does one report failure on their first assignment as a Jedi Knight.
Unstrapping his flight harness Teklin slid down the nose of his snubfighter and walked slowly towards his chambers.
INCOMING TRANSMISSION
Masters, this is Jedi Knight Teklin Nol reporting on my mission of aid to the heavily damaged planet of Rodia. I was shot down over one of the large swaths of uninhabited jungle by what I believe to be pirates preying on the damaged infrastructure of the planet. I was then severely wounded by one of the native carnivores. A group of Rodian naturalists fleeing the ruined cities for the simplicity of the jungle took me in and nursed me back to health. From there it was the long process of attempting to fix my ship with the few spare parts i had available. I was then able to limp it to the nearest city where i completed the minimum of necessary repairs with the limited credits i had on hand and headed back here to the temple. I have been away for some time, and my physical endurance has been decreased from my long period of immobility healing thorugh the rodian's indigenous form of medicine so if you need to contact me, i can most likely be found in my personal chambers or the training simulators. I look forward to my next assignment.

Anya looked up from her datapad as the reception droid DC-A4 shuffled towards her. "an incomming message require your attention mistress Halycon" came the droids pleasant voice.
"Thank you A4 I'll see to it"
The droid bowed its head slightly before shuffling off once more to man the door as Anya keyed up he console to play the message. Well that was lovely news...not that the poor lad had been injured of course..but that he had returned safetly to the Temple. She would have to see to it that the man was fully recovered before he was sent off on another mission, and sent him a message saying she would like to speak to him at his earliest convienence.

Luke sat in his council chair, leaned back and relaxed he watched on a small display holo, the news. Things seemed to be calm for the most part, no wars or major conflicts, but it always seemed when things looked peaceful, everyone focused on spiting the Jedi. It wasn't even anti-Jedi protest right now, but deep political discussion, the senate had just finished another round Trying to figure out what to "do with the Jedi" as if they were as menacing as a whole empire of Sith. Today wasn't just about Jedi alone but all force users, Sentients different then those in majority. People don't like different, A human might not like a Hutt, but he really wouldn't like a Hutt with force powers. True a Jedi's powers could influential, possibly dangerous with the improper usage. it was seen time and time again as Sith or Jedi had risen to power to do evil things, but even the most ungifted sentient had done such as well. Surely the Vong were one of the most dangerous threats the Galaxy had ever seen, and they were void to the force.
He sighed and shut off the display, nothing had been resolved, and nothing would be, there was still a great many senators fighting for the Jedi. Luke himself had gone to Coruscant and spoken to the senate, twice, now he was sending Mercy and some of the Vipers to offer their aid once more, It the GA could see that the Jedi wanted to be a supporting ally, perhaps they could settle on less drastic measures.
Folding his hands together, Luke shut his eyes and slid into a deep meditation, a Jedi must use his gifts of the force, to find out and know it's purpose. The Force was known to give Revelation, but mostly, almost exclusively to those who had searching hearts.

Jedi Master Patrick Starkiller walked quietly into the council room. Rubbing the bridge of his nose Patrick strode over and took a seat in his chair. He didn't acknowledge the fact that Luke was there, not as a sign of disrespect but as a sign of understanding. One did not simply interrupt another's meditations. In fact, Luke had probably sensed the other Master enter.
Patrick, however, chose to take his seat and allow Luke to initiate a conversation or politely carry on his current activities.

Anya made her way into the council room shortly after Master Starkiller did, it had been a while since they had all found time to gather and discuss things in person - and the opportunity now as not to be squandered.
Like Pat she did not interrupt Luke's mediations although she offered a smile and nod of greeting to Pat before taking her seat.

Taking a deep breath Luke straightened up in his seat. Slowly lifting his eyes to the others now in the room. He smiled and Spoke. Ah, Greetings to the both of you.
Shifting his weight slightly Luke got comfortable. I'm glad you both could join me here tonight.

Patrick returned Anya's nod before Luke "awoke."
"Evening Master Kardel," he said a little gruffly. "An odd occasion it is to have the tree of us her at once. Don't you agree Master Halycon," he added, turning to Anya.

"rare perhaps...but like all rare things something to be savored" Anya agreed with a smile to Master Kardel now that he was with them once more.

So let us not waste this moment. Regretfully we have work to do. The GA has continued its anti Force movements, and recently reduced contact with us, even their shipments of supply has stopped.
Not that we necessarily needed it. But this effects us all, not just the Jedi, we have had a strenuous treaty with the DJO and things like this could put stress on that as well.
We need a solution my friends, even if temporally.

Patrick ran his fingers along his beard as he leaned against the arm of his chair. "I agree that the issue with supplies isn't the most pressing," he stated plainly. "If it gets worse we could always proposition the DJO with new arrangements and if that fails we could always return to Lehon. I've kept it well supplied and secluded."

"This Anti-force motion is distressing I agree, I fear should it continue for too long - our less tolerant comrades, namely the DJO will feel forced to act themselves...and that, never ends well" Anya sighed slightly.
"The majority of these motions seem to stem from the current COS - she is notoriously anti-force, but it is not as though we can oppenly oppose the COS and still attempt to stay friendly - leaves us in rather a pickle I think"

Luke covered his chin with the palm of his hand while he thought a moment. I have asked Jedi Freestrike to go before the Senate and COS, to offer the Jedi. I'm not entirely sure how we're going to offer ourselves, but I trust her instict and judgement.

Patrick shot an entertained look at Luke. "Is that so," he asked rhetorically. "I'd have though you would choose another Jedi, given your feelings toward her master." He waved the jab off humorously and sat back in his chair.
"Perhaps we shouldn't attempt to establish ties with the little girl that's playing Chief of State," he said, mildly disgusted.

" Jedi Freestrike?" Anya quirked a brow "Lovely..she'll have them partying...or be captured and require rescue in a matter of hours" Freestrike, Anya knew had amazing inborn talent...but her track record spoke for itself. "I am sure however that you have your reasons"
"I agree with Master Starkiller - to cement ties with this leader I sense would create havok down the road - she does not strike me as one to turn a new leaf and would no doubt seek to use us for her own goals, however outwardly we cannot oppose her either and regardless of how Freestrikes missions turns out it will good on us to have extanded at least a hand of friendship"
